Family Intervention Nurturing Empowerment, Inc. (FINE) is an In-Home Infant Development Program that serves young children from newborn to age three and their families. Children referred to our program qualified to receive in-home sessions through regional centers early start in California due to developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays.
Our Infant Program engages caregivers with the knowledge to enhance their child’s developmental milestones, including fine motor, cognition, social-emotional, language, self-help, and gross motor. We value caregivers as the experts on their unique child’s needs, and team together to understand the best ways to enhance their child’s development within naturally occurring activities and routines in all environments that the child grows and develops.
Families and professionals develop outcomes and interventions to help the child and family in all areas of their life, focusing on social-emotional development, parent-child relationships, attachment, self-regulation, challenging behaviors, and cognitive development.
Our program directors, supervisors, and in-home intervention practitioners have received Doctoral studies, Masters and Bachelor’s professional degrees in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Psychology, Special Education, Child and Family Therapy, Counseling, etc. Our team is also honored to have California Endorsees in the field of Infant Mental Health and Reflective Practice Facilitation. In addition to education and years of experience, each practitioner receives ongoing research-based training and education opportunities throughout the year with experts in family and early childhood studies.They are dedicated and passionate about supporting each family in-home and now via virtual remote services.

At FINE Infant Program, we collaborate with Regional Centers and other agencies to support children and their families referred to our care. We believe that collaboration among agencies empowers decision-making through coordination and participation in developing and achieving individualized family outcomes.
